Celadon Mother-of-Pearl Wine Vessel & Vase Set — Peony by Park In-ho

Overview

This Korean celadon and mother-of-pearl wine vessel and vase set features the Peony (모란 (moran)) motif, a Korean symbol of wealth and honor. Jade-toned celadon is paired with iridescent mother-of-pearl inlay for a refined two-piece display. The pairing makes a striking centerpiece for a cabinet, table, or special celebration.

Heritage & Craft

Korean celadon (cheongja) is prized for its soft jade-green glaze, a tradition perfected in the Goryeo period. Here it is combined with najeon mother-of-pearl inlay and the peony—the king of flowers and an enduring emblem of wealth, honor, and prosperity—so each bloom shifts color as the light moves.

Artist

This set is attributed to Park In-ho, a Korean craft artisan. As a handcrafted work, each piece carries its own subtle variations—making it effectively one of a kind.
