Overview

A small freestanding wooden cross, carved on both faces and set into a dark base so it can stand on a desk, shelf, or side table rather than hang. The graduated finish moves from pale at the head to a deeper tone toward the base.

Craft

Shaped from solid wood and hand-finished, with tool marks and grain left visible. Each piece varies slightly in grain and shading.

Artist

The work of Kim Dong-heon, a Korean wood-carving artisan.
