A handcrafted Korean najeonchilgi rounded 2-tier jewelry box decorated with the white pearl design in hand-inlaid natural mother-of-pearl.

Heritage & Craft

The White Pearl design uses pale, pearly mother-of-pearl laid over the lacquer for a soft, luminous surface. In najeonchilgi, slivers of natural shell are cut and set into the lacquer by hand, so every piece is slightly different.
