A small three-tier jewelry box in red lacquer by Kim Yong-gwan, about 24 cm wide, its rounded lid carrying a peacock in hand-inlaid mother-of-pearl.

Heritage & Craft

Three stacked tiers in a 24 cm footprint make this the most storage-dense small piece in the peacock series — rings, earrings, and necklaces each get a level. The rounded lid lets the nacre tail-feathers catch light across the curve, glowing against the celebration-red ground.
