A clam-shaped single-tier jewelry box in red lacquer with a butterfly pattern in hand-inlaid mother-of-pearl, attributed to Oh Myung-ho.

Heritage & Craft

Shaping the box as a clam shell honors the material itself — nacre returned to the form it came from. Across the domed lid, butterflies (nabi, joy and love) are cut from natural shell and set by hand into the red lacquer.

Attributed to Oh Myung-ho. Each box is hand-finished and subtly individual — effectively one of a kind.
