Heritage & Craft

The gentle curve of the giwa roof tile is one of Korea's most recognizable silhouettes; borrowed for a lid, it turns the box into a miniature of traditional architecture. Cranes and pines — the longevity pair — sweep across the curve in hand-cut nacre.
